Arie Ovadia, PhD
Chairman of the Board
Arie is a board member of several major Israeli companies including Israel Discount Bank, Phoenix Insurance Company, Elite Industries, Israel Petrochemical Industries and Tadiran Communications. He has lectured at the New York University, Temple University, the University of Tel Aviv and Bradford University. Arie has an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a Ph.D in economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Sarel Tal
General Manager
Sarel is a seasoned entrepreneur, the founder and first CEO of Brighthaul Inc, and former CEO of Voltaire, a company he re-started and turned into a leading force in InfiniBand technology. Prior to joining Voltaire, Sarel served as VP of Sales & Marketing at Innowave, now part of Alvarion (NASDAQ: ALVR), where he tripled annual sales to over $90 millions in 1998. Prior to that, Sarel held a number of R&D, product management and business development positions at Motorola Communications Ltd. Sarel has a bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a masters degree in science and management from Boston University.
Shai Hackam
R&D Manager
Shai, a former R&D manager in Co-Do and Webber.com, has over nine years of experience in software development and R&D team leadership. He also worked at Motorola and at Medcon Ltd., a highly successful company in the cardiac image field. He also brings with him experience in the fields of networking, communications and encryption. Shai has a bachelor degree in computer sciences and a master degree in technology management from Tel Aviv University.
Jakob Schwerdt
Senior Consultant
President and CEO of AllCharge, before it was acquired by NewGenPay Founder and shareholder of Varetis AG, Germany, an international telecom software and services company that quickly exceeded $35 million in sales with over 200 employees in five global subsidiaries. Schwerdt grew the company in new markets and market segments including integrated system solutions, software sales, and operator services provision. Jakob has BA and MBSc degrees from Tel-Aviv University, Israel
